When she started to post about how she was going to write a book focusing on how she grew her audience, built her brand and expanded her reach as a professional blogger, I couldn't wait to read it. She's done an amazing job with sharing her story in an articulate, graceful and conversational writing style. You know how a lot of books tell how to do something without really telling how to do it? This one is not only filled with time tested advice but contains actual examples along with embedded links to helpful sites the author recommends because she uses them for her successful blog. I thought Kimberly did a great job in helping the reader understand what was necessary in order to be a "stand out" in his or her niche. The book offered down to earth tips and practical advice that is applicable to either the beginning, intermediate or even the advanced blogger who needs a refresher.
I've been blogging for a few years and there are many times I feel overwhelmed just at the thought of doing everything I need to do to make my blog a success and doing it well. Standing Out in a Popular Blogging Niche takes many of the things I worry about and breaks them down into easy to understand and actionable tips. Kimberly makes the tips very doable for even the busiest of bloggers.
Bloggers of all experience levels will find Kimberly's book helpful. Beginner bloggers will feel they are getting advice from an old friend. More experienced bloggers will be motivated by seeing how someone puts everything together. Working a full-time job and blogging in my free time makes it seem hard to stay on track with my blog, but seeing what Kimberly is able to do in that same situation is very motivating.
I'm thinking of starting a blog and, while doing my due diligence, came across this gem of an e-book! Easy to follow for the most part, a list of definitions would have been helpful, but overall made my decision an easy one. I'm ready to start on my new project for the new year, thanks Kimberly! You provided me with a great place to start with tons of suggestions, tips, and other sources of information and inspiration. P.S. I also think the kindle is the best in the world!
